Competition of startup projects on innovative infrastructure

Selection of startup projects on the scale of innovative infrastructures

This competition will be held in accordance with the requirements of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures to further improve the regulatory framework for the development of scientific research and innovative activities" dated March 9, 2020 No. 133.

Conditions for accepting startup projects:

-Applications will be accepted from April 20, 2022 to May 20, 2022;

-Participation of 1 participant with 1 project;

-The maximum period of creation of mockups and/or prototypes, software products, services and social products based on startup projects should not exceed 1 year;

When evaluating the project, the following are taken into account:

-Innovativeness of the project - the degree of use of new technologies and/or process organization principles not previously used in the republic, in which the project envisages the production of a new product (if there is an intellectual property object) that has not been produced in the republic before, and the creation of a new service;

-Technical excellence of the project, including the level of completion;

-Availability of protective documents - a patent or a patent application, and/or a complete set of scientific and technical documents, and/or technical regulations of the intended product (technology), test reports, availability of a product sample;

-The investment attractiveness of the project is a set of favorable investment and innovation conditions that bring additional profit and reduce the risk of the invested funds. The investment attractiveness of the project is determined by its compatibility with the long-term prospects of the country's development, the cost of the project, consideration of risks, self-recovery and profitability;

-Financial planning of the project is the compliance of the project's financial support with the planned work and the basis of the cost estimate;

-Marketing plan - project implementation strategy, market size, target audience, main communication/sales channels, competitive environment, etc.

-The expected results of the project implementation are the effective use of the allocated funds, the quality and time of the implementation of the activities, the organization of the production of products that require a scientific basis that replaces imports and is oriented to export.

The decision of the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding the winners of the competition is firm and will not be revised.

Applications for the competition must be submitted in accordance with the agreement between the parties. Original copies of the following documents should be sent to startuptechnopark@gmail.com in PDF format:

-Application signed by the author of the startup project;

-Startup project passport;

-Cost estimate;

-Startup project business text (with signature and seal);

-Startup project presentation in the form of a presentation (10 slides) that the content of the project is fully covered;

-Letter of guarantee from the director of the technology park where the project will be implemented (with signature and seal).

The submitted projects must strictly comply with the selection requirements, the reliability and authenticity of the project materials, no copying (plagiarism) is allowed, they are formed based on the requirements, and the startup is fully in accordance with the research design of the important results that will be obtained at the end of the project. a preliminary technical examination will be conducted on the validity and correct calculation of the requested funds in accordance with the volume of funding specified in the tender conditions.

Projects that have not passed the initial technical examination are not recommended for the next stage of the competition!

Submitted projects may not be recommended for participation in the competition in the following cases:

-The fact that the startup project does not have an innovative feature;

-There is no guarantee letter from the director of the technology park where the project will be implemented;

-The goals and objectives of the startup project are not clarified;

-If the funds allocated for the implementation of startup projects are spent on reconstruction and repair-construction works of buildings, as well as on the purchase of motor vehicles.

The authenticity and reliability of the information in the submitted start-up projects and the success of the start-up projects by the competition winners, the complete and timely implementation of the expected results set in the tasks of the competition programs are the responsibility of the start-up project managers and the heads of the organization implementing this project.
