A press conference dedicated to the project "100 ideas for Uzbekistan" was held

At the meeting of video selectors held on January 27 of this year, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev proposed the implementation of the project "100 ideas for Uzbekistan" in order to discover talented young people and support their initiatives and aspirations in every way. Within the framework of the project, it is envisaged to create conditions for the realization of the ideas of enterprising young people in cities and villages in such areas as economy, education, sports, health care, and information technologies.

It is envisaged that the youth of Uzbekistan between the ages of 14 and 30 will participate in this competition with their ideas and proposals related to the development of the country, as well as solutions to existing problems in a specific field.

Selection directions are as follows:

1. Science, education and health care;

2. Culture and art;

3. Media;

4. Sports and tourism;

5. Development of public services;

6. Construction, architecture and transport;

7. Entrepreneurship and employment;

8. Agriculture, irrigation and agro-technologies;

9. Information technologies and innovations;

10. Ecology, renewable energy sources and chemical technologies.

Procedure for participation in the competition:

The project will be held in three stages: qualifying, regional (semi-final) and national (final). Up to 100 projects from each region will be selected for the regional stage (semi-finals), and the best 100 from 1400 projects will be among the winners.

To date, a total of 2,653 applications for participation in the competition have been received.

The competition is expected to be full of interesting events. A 2-day event and motivational meetings are planned for young people in each region. This project, which unites the most talented and enterprising young men and women of the republic, covers a total of 30,000 young people. This number confirms the importance and relevance of the competition.

The best projects are expected to receive financial support.
