Westerwelle Young Founders Program - The Westerwelle Young Entrepreneurs Program is a 6-month program for 25 young entrepreneurs who will help move markets towards a sustainable future.
The goal of the program is to help young entrepreneurs develop their leadership qualities and support them through founders' initiatives. The program consists of three stages:
Kick-Off Conference - a two-day digital (online) kick-off conference to be held September 4-5, 2023;
Remote Program - 6-month program from September 2023 to February (2024) with personal mentor support, interaction with graduate students, monthly peer consultations, monthly expert seminars, and opportunities to interact with corporations and investors;Berlin conference - 10 best participants will be selected and a 5-day conference with investors will be held in Berlin in May 2023.
The top 10 participants who successfully complete the initial stages of this program will have the opportunity to attend a 5-day conference in Berlin, Germany. All expenses of the participants are covered by the organization. During this conference, the founders will have the opportunity to communicate with investors, participate in seminars, participate in various events and obtain the necessary information, as well as build relationships with participants.
To participate in the program, candidates must meet the following requirements:
The candidate must have a commercial company that is starting to develop or targeting emerging markets within the last five years;
The company must have a business model that generates revenue or provides a first round of external funding;
Must be fluent in English;
Must be able to improve the quality, impact, or inclusiveness of an existing business;
Should be able to participate in online conferences and 6 months of this program.
Participants accepted into the program will receive the following benefits:
Participation in this program is free;
10 selected participants will have the opportunity to receive a fully paid ticket to the conference in Berlin for 5 days;
The program will include personal mentor support, alumni engagement, monthly peer-to-peer mentoring, monthly expert seminars, and networking with corporations and investors;
During this conference, the founders will have the opportunity to introduce themselves to investors, attend workshops, join networking events and get the information they need.
