This competition is held in accordance with the requirements specified in the regulation “On the procedure for approval, financing and implementation of start-up projects”, approved by Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers PKM-133
“On measures to further improve the regulatory framework for scientific research” dated March 9, 2020.
Conditions for accepting startup projects:
Social impact: the project must have an independent social purpose and the potential to solve social problems;
The project must be able to cover the costs of maintaining its activities in the future;
Applications are accepted from September 11 to December 11, 2023;
One participant (project manager) has the right to present only one project;
The maximum period for creating software products, services and social products based on startup projects should not exceed 1 year;
Projects are assessed according to the following criteria:
Innovativeness of the project - the level of use of new technologies and (or) principles of organizing processes that have not previously been used in the country where the project involves the production of new products (if there is intellectual property), the creation of a new service;
Technical excellence of the project, including degree of completion;
Availability of documents of protection - a patent or patent application, and/or a complete set of scientific and technical documentation, and/or technical regulations for the proposed product (technology), test reports, availability of a product sample;
Financial planning of the project - adequacy of project financing to the planned work and cost estimates;
The expected results from the implementation of the project are the effective use of allocated funds, the quality and timeliness of activities, the organization of production that requires an import-substituting and export-oriented scientific base;
The decision of the Agency for Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan regarding the results of the competition is final and is not subject to revision!
