Open competition of startup projects aimed at solving the problems of the region in the area of innovative regions "Startup" projects approved by the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 9, 2020 No. "On the procedure for approval, financing and implementation" will be held in accordance with the requirements specified in the regulation.
The competition accepts applications aimed at the creation and implementation of large-scale business projects focused on production and service. They must be based on innovations and technologies.
The agency will allocate up to 2 billion soums for each innovative region to implement the project of the winning startup.
Eligibility conditions
- In order to participate in the competition, the startup project initiator (enterprise) - the startup must contribute funds from its own account in the amount of at least 30% of the funds requested from the agency for the implementation of the project;
- Legal and natural persons can participate;
- The start-up project must be formed within the driver sector of the region;
- A letter of recommendation from the deputy governor for innovative development issues of districts (cities) that are being transformed into innovative regions in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent must be obtained;
- Only subjects of innovative activity in the listed innovation regions can participate in the competition;
- 1 participant can participate with 1 project;
- The maximum period of creation of mockups and (or) prototypes, software products, services and social products based on startup projects should not exceed 1 year.
- When implementing the project, it is recommended to take into account the following factors:
- Environmentally friendly and environmentally friendly technologies;
- Use of renewable energy sources;
- Based on green technologies;
- Do not harm human health;
- Compliance with universal and national values;
- Compatibility of technologies with factors of sustainable development.

- Participation in the competition is free;
