On October 18 of this year, an online meeting was held in cooperation with the Scientific and Technical Information Center (Center) under the Ministry of Innovative Development and the Ural Federal University (UrFU) named after the First President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin.
The deputy director of the department of projects for the development of scientific activity and international coordination of UrFU M. O. Guzikova gave information about the directions of scientific activity of the university and the issues of supporting them with scientific and technical information, as well as the means of analyzing foreign and Russian scientific publications. During the interview, the director of the Center, A.A. Abduvaliyev, and the head of the sector of the center, I.Karimjonov, gave information about the system and methodology of the analyzes carried out in the Center on foreign scientific bases.
At the end of the discussions, M.A. Akoyev, head of the scientific laboratory of the UrFU University "Ilmmetry Laboratory", developed national scientific and technical information systems, created and applied mechanisms for high-speed access to information resources using the latest information and telecommunication technologies, as well as interstate scientific and technical projects and agreed on providing scientific information and information-analytical support within the framework of the programs.
In the future, it was agreed that UrFU will cooperate on the formation and use of information resources for the development of scientific and technical directions of our country, as well as on the training of personnel in the field of scientific and technical information and improving their qualifications.
