The "IV International Congress of Dentists" and the 8th Congress of Republican Dentists dedicated to the current problems of dentistry and maxillofacial surgery were held. Minister of Health Bekhzod Musayev, Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education Abdugadir Tashkulov, as well as 150 prestigious foreign dentists and the most experienced experts from our country took part in this international congress.
The international accreditation certificate obtained during the event was handed over to Nodir Kadyrov, rector of the Tashkent State Dental Institute.
According to the conclusion of the Accreditation Council, the institute's undergraduate and graduate courses have been accredited. International accreditation of the Tashkent State Dental Institute is a process of assessing the compliance of educational programs in Uzbekistan with international quality standards, and was conducted by an independent foreign agency, a member of the European Association for Quality Assurance of Higher Education (ENQA) and a member of the European Register of Quality Assurance Agencies (EQAR).
The acquisition of international accreditation by the institute will expand many opportunities in the field of international education for the team of the institute. In particular, it serves to recognize educational programs by the world community, establish and develop cooperation with foreign HEIs, ensure transparency and openness of educational processes, and increase the competence of graduates.
For information: today, the Tashkent State Dental Institute has established cooperation with more than 100 leading foreign HEIs and scientific centers of more than 20 developed countries in the world, among the republic's higher education institutions, it has a branch in the European Union, an international quality management ISO 9001:20.15 certificate, and a Finnish certificate. It has a scientific-practical magazine "Medicine and Innovations" in cooperation with JAMK University.
