A delegation of the Ministry of Innovative Development visited Hungary

On the first day of the visit, the delegation visited the Hungarian Association of Industrial, Scientific, Innovation and Technological Parks. Within the framework of the visit, Minister I. Abdurakhmanov met with the President of the Association Norbert Moruj. Within the framework of the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation development between scientific and technological parks of Uzbekistan and Hungary.

The Hungarian Association of Industrial, Scientific, Innovative and Technological Parks (IPE) is an organization established in 1994 to support the development of industrial parks and currently supports scientific, innovative and technological parks as part of its activities. It operates under the Hungarian Ministry of Innovation and Technology.

During the negotiations, it was agreed to establish direct relations between this association and the "Inno" technopark established in Tashkent, and to implement joint activities in a number of directions. In particular, the issues of organizing joint acceleration-incubation programs, implementation of joint Uzbek-Hungarian start-up project selection, joint review and development of project selection and evaluation system were discussed. In addition, it was agreed that practical steps will be taken to include the "Inno" technology park as a member of the International Association of Industrial, Innovative and Technological Parks.

At the same time, Ibrahim Abdurahmanov met with Sterbenz Tamash, rector of the University of Physical Education. Within the framework of the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the work carried out in the two countries in the fields of physical education, sports, and health care, as well as systems of support for scientific work and research.

During the negotiations, they touched upon the issues of establishing relations with the State University of Physical Education and Sports of Uzbekistan and scientific research institutes operating in the field, financing joint scientific projects.

It should be noted that the University of Physical Education (TE) was founded in 1925 and is the largest higher education and scientific institution in Hungary and Eastern Europe specializing in physical education and sports.
