On December 13, 2021, a scientific conference of young scientists was held at the Institute of Physics and Technology of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan.
The main goal of the conference is to stimulate the scientific research of active young scientists, to improve the skills of presenting the scientific results obtained by young researchers. About 100 young scientists, heads of laboratories and leading scientific staff participated in the conference.
At this event held in the form of an online video conference, 22 lectures on the results of scientific research currently being conducted by young scientists in the fields of theoretical physics, high energy physics, semiconductor physics and renewable energy sources were heard. Presentations of young scientists were evaluated by an expert commission consisting of 11 leading scientists and the best scientific works were determined. Young scientist T. Jorayev was recognized as the winner of a special award of 10 million soums in the field of renewable energy sources. The winner of the "Best scientific presentation" competition of the conference and the winner of the prize of 10 million soums, Sh. Atajonov was found. M.Shodmonov and A.Khalimov, who conduct scientific research in the field of high-energy physics and renewable energy sources, won the second place and a cash prize of 5 million soums. Young scientists B.Rajapov, R.Bebitov, R.Khurramov and B.Abdulazizov, who are conducting research in the fields of semiconductor physics and instrument engineering, took the proud third place and received a cash prize of 2.5 million soums.
