A coating that accelerates the recovery of damaged tissue and organs is being produced

Currently, the efforts of scientists are aimed at creating low-toxic, highly effective and biodegradable coatings with high adsorption capacity, stimulating the regeneration of damaged tissues and organs and inhibiting the vital activity of pathogenic microorganisms.

Scientists of the Tashkent Medical Academy, under the leadership of Hegay Lyubov, have developed a wound dressing with specific therapeutic photodynamic effects.

This dressing was created based on the results of the practical project "Creation of semi-permeable and biodegradable wound dressings for the treatment of soft tissue and skin injuries of various genesis" funded by the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The production volume of this coating, which is important for everyone, is expected to increase by 3 times. Also, as a result of it, the duration of wound healing is reduced from 21 days to 7 days.
