In recent years, specific goal-oriented measures have been implemented in our country for the innovative development of the social sphere, comprehensive support of science and scientific activities, and increasing their effectiveness. In particular, in order to increase the position of the national science and innovation system in socio-economic development, to accelerate the implementation of scientific achievements and innovative technologies in the regions, a number of activities were launched.
On February 2 of this year, the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a discussion of the "2017-2021 National Report on Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan" with the participation of a wide scientific community, ministries and organizations. More than 270 interested government bodies and organizations, representatives of the scientific community, representatives of the private sector, international and regional organizations and other interested persons participated in the online discussion.
The "National report" on science and innovative development in the Republic of Uzbekistan includes analytical developments and information on the state of the country's scientific potential, financing of scientific research and development, the development of the network, the activities of authorized agencies."National lecture" serves to make management decisions on lagging areas of science and integration into the real sector of the economy.
Also, through this report, it is planned to raise the awareness of local scientists and researchers in the field of science and innovation in the world and in Uzbekistan, as well as the development trends, results and achievements of scientific activities in priority areas of science.
