During the meeting, the Deputy General Director of the World Intellectual Property Organization, Hassan Kleib, highly appreciated the attention paid to the creation of an innovative ecosystem by the government of Uzbekistan. At this point, the World Intellectual Property Organization announced its readiness to support small and medium-sized businesses, youth and women within the framework of the organization's programs.
In particular, within the framework of the "WIPO Academy" and "Summer School" programs, organizing trainings for exporters, startups and business representatives on the development of the necessary knowledge and skills regarding the commercialization of intellectual property and the solution of socio-economic problems, as well as " Support was agreed to under the WIPO IP Diagnostics program.
At the same time, the parties agreed to develop a plan of measures for cooperation between the World Intellectual Property Organization and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
