This competition is held in accordance with the requirements of Resolution No. 133 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 9, 2020 "On measures to further improve the regulatory framework for the development of research and innovation".

Research areas:

• energy and energy conservation;
• medicine and medical technologies;
• pharmacy and pharmacology;
• nano- and biotechnologies;
• chemical technologies;
• new materials;
• digital economy;
• food security;
• agro-industrial technologies;
• rational use of natural resources;
• prevention and elimination of the consequences of natural disasters;
• water resources management technologies;
• mining technologies;
• laser technologies and photonics;
• digital information and communication and interdisciplinary technologies.

Scientific groups wishing to participate in the competition should submit an application on the terms of mutual consent with partners from the Azerbaijani side, and within the framework of the project objectives.

The duration of the project should not exceed 24 months.

Projects submitted to the competition by only one performer, as well as projects rejected for funding unilaterally or from both sides based on the results of the examination, are excluded from the competition.
