A new university will appear in Uzbekistan - Acharya International University of Uzbekistan

In accordance with the Development Strategy of the New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026, the activity of an IT cluster specializing in digital technologies and meeting modern requirements is being launched in the Karakul district of the Bukhara region, the purpose of which will be to create a complex chain from education to production in the field of information technology.

The IT cluster will include a university with 5,600 seats, an incubation center with 100 seats and a center for the export of remote services with 50 seats, a student dormitory with 1,435 seats and a hotel for employees, a canteen, outdoor and indoor sports complexes.

On October 10 of this year, the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Khokimiyat of Bukhara region and Acharya Institutes of India signed an agreement on mutual cooperation to create a new university - Acharya International University of Uzbekistan.

The meeting also discussed issues of continuing work in this direction, the development of new joint projects.
