The deadline for applying for the Scholarship Program Stipendium Hungaricum announced by the Hungarian government is January 16, 2023 (also on this day) at 14:00 (at the time of Central Europe).
Within the framework of this scholarship program, citizens of Uzbekistan are provided with 170 educational grants for Bachelor's, master's, doctoral studies in the 2023/2024 academic year.
20 places – undergraduate;
10 places-The Bachelor's degree is combined with the master's degree, that is, Documents are submitted in the direction of undergraduate education, which also includes a master's degree (OTM – one time master), the duration of study is 5 or 6 years, depending on the direction of Education;
60 places – master's degree;
60 places-doctorate (PhD);
20 places-to study at the University of Physical Education (City of Budapest).
Grants can also be used for short-term courses at Hungarian universities.

At the initial stage, documents are studied by Hungary, and documents that do not meet the requirements of the competition are removed from the list.
Short list (List of qualifiers)is sent by the Hungarian side to the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan to evaluate candidates from 1 to 170 (main list) and then from 170 to 340 (Reserve) in sequence after consulting with the relevant higher education institutions.
The final decision on admission is made on the basis of the conclusions of Hungarian universities.
The Hungarian university or coordinator who is enrolled can invite the candidate for an online interview when necessary.
The location of candidates in the list is determined strictly within the above quotas.
The order of placement (assessment) in the list by Sequence is determined based on the priority areas of training personnel in Uzbekistan.
Preference is given to those who apply for engineering and technology, as well as medical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemistry, geology, physics, information technology, artificial intelligence, energy, alternative energy sources and other similar areas.
Work experience in a higher educational institution, knowledge of foreign languages will be of paramount importance. The benefit is granted not to those who want to finish their studies in 2023, but to those who completed this or that stage by January 16, 2023. Priority is given to candidates who want to continue their professional activities in the Republic, including in the system of Higher, Secondary special and vocational education, scientific centers and similar institutions.
