Today, on May 16th, a seminar was organized within the framework of the project for supporting investments, scientific research, innovation promotion, and collaboration with the Scientific and Technical Information Center, supported by the World Bank in Uzbekistan.
The seminar was led by M.A. Akoyev, the Director of the Laboratory of Scientometrics at the Ural Federal University, named after the first President of Russia, B.N. Yeltsin. High-level officials and researchers from international educational and scientific institutions participated in the seminar both online and offline. During the training, M.A. Akoyev provided information on the Web of Science international database and its tools. Additionally, the expert conducted practical activities to conduct in-depth analysis of organizational profiles using Web of Science tools and identify challenges in utilizing the database. Recommendations were given to the participants on the proper use of the database.
After the seminar, participants had the opportunity to receive answers to their curious questions.
