On September 4 of this year, the head of the Scientometry Development Department of the Center for Scientific and Technical Information, D.Abdumuminova, made a presentation at the training seminar "using international databases Web of Science, Springer Nature, Scopus" for doctoral students of universities and ITM, researchers, scientists and researchers in the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
The lecture consists of 2 sessions,
1 session was held at the Karakalpak State University, 2 session - at the Karakalpak Academy of Sciences.
The seminar was held in the format of an interactive dialogue, as a result of which all participants had access to a scientific database. During the lecture, information was presented about Scopus databases, Web of Science, as well as about scientific information platforms springerlink, Proof-reading.The audience discussed in detail the ways of using scientometric tools Scival and InCites, as well as the affiliation of creating a profile of the author and the organization.
During the seminar, participants were instructed to register on international databases and become members. At the end, the participants received answers to their questions.
