On 3 May 2024, the Center for Research of
Problems in Privatization and State Assets Management under the State Assets Management Agency of the Republic of
Uzbekistan is planning to hold an international scientific and practical
conference on the topic: “Development of Market and Property
Relations in Conditions of Social and Economic Transformation of Society”, dedicated to the
30th anniversary of formation of the Research Center
of the State Assets Management Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Beginning of the conference: 10.00 Tashkent time.
Languages of the conference: Uzbek, Russian and English
The main areas of the conference:
1.
Privatization
of state property – a basis for transformation of property relations,
development of private property and reduction of state participation in the economy.
2.
Development
of institutions and mechanisms for effective management of state property and
transformation of state assets.
3.
Introduction
of modern international standards and best practices of corporate governance in
business companies, including state-owned enterprises.
4.
Improvement
of methodology and mechanisms for implementing the financial rehabilitation of
economically insolvent enterprises, insolvency and bankruptcy procedures.
5.
Development
of capital market, its infrastructure and attraction of investors through the
mechanisms of functioning of the securities market.
6.
Issues
of development of real estate market, improvement of state regulation and
functioning of appraisal and real estate activities.
To participate in the conference, it is needed to submit
by May 3, 2024 a paper in the areas of the conference (with an
application in the attached form) in Uzbek, Russian or English.
The conference can be attended by teachers, doctoral
students, independent researchers and students of local and foreign
universities, scientific personnel of research institutions, as well as
managers and specialists of government agencies, enterprises and
non-governmental organizations. Persons who wish to participate in the
conference online will be sent a connection link in advance.
To publish the conference proceedings and carry out
organizational work, participants from Uzbekistan must pay an organizational
fee in the amount of
30,000 soums per page. Participation in the conference for participants
from foreign countries is free.
Requirements for formatting the conference
paper:
·
paper must
be presented without spelling errors on current topics related to the
scientific areas of the conference, based on scientific analysis and complete
opinions, including scientific and practical recommendations;
·
text of
paper should not exceed 3-5 pages;
·
text
editor – MS Word;
·
sheet
format – A4 format, book format, on each side of the text – 20 mm;
·
font:
Times New Roman, size 14;
·
paragraph
– 1.0 cm, line spacing – single, align to width;
·
title
of the paper – should be written at the top of the paper in CAPITAL LETTERS,
bold, centered;
·
in the
right corner, through a line, the author’s data should be indicated (name and
surname (full), place of work, academic degree and academic title, email
address and mobile phone number). After one line, the main text of the paper should
be written;
·
tables
and graphs should be in MS Excel format; pictures and diagrams should be in MS
Word format; formulas should be done by MS Equation editor;
·
sources
and explanations for all tables, graphs, figures and diagrams must be provided;
·
list
of references should be given at the end of the paper. Links to the source and
literature used should be given within the main text of the paper in square
brackets (for example, [1]) and placed in the order of mention throughout the
text. The design of the bibliographic list must be in accordance with GOST 7.0.100-2018.
·
file name of the paper should indicate the number
of the appropriate area of the conference and the author’s surname in Latin
letters (for example: 1-Saidov.doc).
The text of the paper must be edited and strictly
comply with the technical requirements for formatting. Papers that do not meet
the requirements and are submitted late will not be accepted. The author is
responsible for the content of the paper, the reliability and accuracy of
examples, quotes and information used in the text.
Only one individual paper is accepted from one author,
the rest (no more than 2) are possible in co-authorship. Upon the completion of
the international scientific and practical conference, the conference
proceedings will be published. Authors’ papers, which received positive
recommendations from experts, will be published in the conference proceedings. The
conference proceedings in electronic form will be sent to the authors after the
conference.
