On July 13, the opening ceremony of the Advanced Engineering School was held at the Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi. Head of the Department of Social Development of the Presidential Administration Odil Abdurahmanov, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovations Kangiratboy Sharipov took part in the event.
This complex, established in order to strengthen the integration of "network-enterprise-university", consists of 14 laboratories established in cooperation with local and foreign enterprises in the field of information and communication technologies.
In this Advanced Engineering School, practice-oriented education is developed through the establishment of department branches and dual education at industry enterprises, and scientific research on localization and cost reduction is carried out. Also, the production/service lines of industry enterprises will be established as spin-offs at the university.
