Certificates were presented to scientists who received grants for their scientific projects

Including 11 agriculture, 9 biotechnology and biology, 7 medicine, 3 philology, psychology and pedagogical sciences, 2 earth sciences, 2 engineering, 1 pharmacology and pharmacy, 1 history and archeology, 1 chemical sciences and nanotechnologies, 1 mathematical sciences. The final results of the ongoing projects are aimed at obtaining agrotechnologies in the field of agriculture, treatment technologies in the field of medicine, drugs and substances in the field of pharmacology and pharmaceuticals, technical devices, prototypes, and software products.

Minister of Innovative Development Ibrahim Abdurahmanov congratulated the scientists who won grants for their scientific projects and emphasized that the results of their research should be developments and inventions that benefit the country. Also, the minister called on scientists to regularly submit their proposals for solving existing economic and social problems, to express their opinion on the realities, and to be an active participant in the reforms implemented by our government.

The selection of fundamental, practical and innovative projects carried out within the framework of state programs related to scientific activity in accordance with the requirements of the state order for scientific research works is regularly held by the Ministry of Innovative Development. In particular, in the first half of 2021, 86 scientific projects with a total value of 44.8 billion soums were financed within the framework of state programs related to scientific activity.

It is interesting to note that this year the total cost is 179.9 billion soums. 158 thematic topics (48 innovative, 110 practical) were announced.

Currently, competitions for 49 thematic topics with a total value of 59.2 billion soums are ongoing in 12 disciplines.

"Uzbekistan-Belarus" competition of international fundamental projects and "Uzbekistan-Hungary" and "Uzbekistan-Russia" start-up project competitions are also ongoing.
