The salary of scientists has been increased by 3 times, and the procedure of paying 30% to candidates of science and 60% to doctors of science has been introduced.
32 million dollars were allocated to scientific organizations for the purchase of modern equipment, and 120 billion soums were allocated for the repair of buildings and structures.

As a result of the far-sighted policy carried out in the country, today a unique platform for generating new ideas and innovations is being formed for scientists and specialists, representatives of industry enterprises, especially talented young scientists.

The commercial drug "Rutan" was included in the protocol for the treatment of "Covid-19", test-diagnostics for the detection of SARS-CoV-2 infection were created, and the production of 500,000 kits per month was launched.

The complete DNA sequence of the genomes of more than 250 samples of the coronavirus spread in Uzbekistan was determined, and as a result of placing the data of the first 112 samples in the world GISAID database, Uzbekistan became one of the 50 countries that have completely read the genome of the variants of the coronavirus spread in its territory.
