On September 17, the head of the investment development agency of the Republic of Tatarstan T. Minullina gave a presentation to the delegation led by the Minister of Innovative Development I. Abdurahmonov about the investment potential of the republic and reforms in the field.
The Republic of Tatarstan is considered one of the most economically developed subjects of Russia and attracts 1.8 billion US dollars of foreign direct investment per year. In the "Tataristan-2030" strategy, it is planned to increase this indicator by 5.7 billion US dollars by 2030 and spend more than 8.6 trillion rubles (100 billion US dollars) for investment projects. The republic is among the top three in Russia in terms of investment activity.
At the same time, T. Minullina and I. Abdurahmonov exchanged views on the creation of an innovative ecosystem in Uzbekistan, the problems that arise in this direction and their solutions. In particular, he introduced the creation of innovative regions in the Russian Federation and the work carried out in these regions. At the same time, he highly appreciated the initiative of the Ministry of Innovative Development to turn some districts of the republic into innovative regions.
