On September 15, 2021, the Institute of Uzbek Language, Literature and Folklore of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan held a republican scientific conference on the topic "Current issues of linguistics, literary studies and folklore studies of the period of independence", organized in connection with the thirtieth anniversary of our country's independence. It was attended by leading scientists and specialists, professors, young researchers, students from different regions of our republic and higher education institutions.
The work of the conference was conducted in plenary and linguistics, literary studies, folklore studies. Interesting lectures on the study of Uzbek classic literature in the period of independence, the development of Uzbek linguistics, the uniqueness of Uzbek poetry in the period of independence, the study of the works of Bakhshi and folklore studies, and modern linguistics were heard and discussed.
