The Deputy Minister of Innovative Development made a presentation at the "Russia-Uzbekistan Education Forum"

"Russia-Uzbekistan educational forum" was held in Moscow. The forum was attended by about 100 representatives of the ministries and departments responsible for education and science, rectors of higher education institutions from Uzbekistan and Russia, and Deputy Minister of Innovative Development Shahlo Turdiqulova.

Deputy Minister M.V. He gave a speech at the event held at the Lomonosov Moscow State University and made a presentation about the attention paid to science and innovative activities in Uzbekistan. He said that the Ministry of Innovative Development has introduced the mechanism of state orders for scientific research works, and that the practice of regularly announcing contests on current thematic topics is being implemented. He noted that the grant system has a positive effect on the competitiveness, quality and scope of the financed projects.

It is worth noting that within the framework of the 2019-2020 Uzbekistan-Russia scientific and technical cooperation program, 17 projects with a total value of 3.5 bln. soums joint scientific and technical projects were implemented and a number of important scientific results were obtained. In addition, co-leaders of 13 fundamental projects financed by the Ministry are Russian scientists.
