Admission quota for research trainee, basic doctoral studies, doctoral studies and targeted doctoral studies for 2022

In accordance with the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 304 of May 22, orders were received from a total of 39 ministries, agencies and organizations that have higher education institutions or scientific organizations under their jurisdiction for 2022 for internship-research, basic doctoral studies, doctoral studies, and targeted doctoral studies.

For 2022, admission quotas to post-higher education institutions have been doubled to 3,600. In 2021, admission quotas for post-secondary education institutions were 1800.

Quotas were allocated based on the following criteria:

- Analysis of admission quotas allocated in 2021;

- Decrees and decisions of the President, reporting tasks, Government decisions, reporting tasks and priorities;

- needs for scientific and pedagogical personnel in the fields and industries in the regions;

- needs for highly qualified scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel;

- a contingent of doctoral students and independent researchers;

- effective work of scientific supervisors and scientific consultants;

- Accredited specializations;

- Attestation results of the State Inspectorate of Education Quality Control Institute for the Training of Scientific Level Personnel. According to the President's decrees and decisions, statement assignments, the Government's decision, statement assignments and priorities:

In connection with the implementation of the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-4996 dated February 17, 2021, a total of 28 target quotas were allocated to basic doctoral studies and trainee-research in the field of Artificial Intelligence. Including 14 to basic doctoral studies, 14 to trainee-research, of which Digital technologies and target quotas were allocated to 4 basic doctoral programs and 6 research trainees in the field of artificial intelligence.

The tasks given during the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M. Mirziyoyev to the Surkhondarya region on June 1-2, 2021 and the report of the meeting No. 30 held in an extended manner, paragraph 107, to increase the scientific potential of the higher education institutions located in the Surkhondarya region, the leading higher education and A total of 67 target doctorate admission quotas were allocated in connection with the execution of the task of allocating 50 target doctorate quotas in 2022 in scientific research institutes.

From this:

- 45 to the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education; - 10 to the Ministry of Health;

-Ministry of Construction and "Uzkimyosanoat" JSC - 4 each;

to the Ministry of Transport - 2;

- To the Ministry of Agriculture and to the scientific and educational organizations of the Academy of Sciences - 1 quota of admission to targeted doctoral studies was allocated.

Also, Decree No. PF-6099 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Decisions and Statements No. PQ-5146, Q-5032, PQ-4963, PQ-4899, PQ-4861, PQ-4850, as well as Government Order No. 307 of May 18, 2021 - number, acceptance quotas were allocated in connection with the execution of decisions No. 786 of December 15, 2020 and other statement assignments. The National Human Rights Center of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Neighborhood and Family Scientific Research Institute under the Ministry of Neighborhood and Family Support of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Center for Advanced Technologies under the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan have been allocated admission quotas for doctoral studies for the first time. the given quota was allocated to support women.
