A SCHOLARSHIP for international LEADERS Grant is announced by the Delaware Law School of Widener University in the United States for students wishing to study Masters of Law (LLM), Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD), or Master of Jurisprudence (MJ).
The Grant is offered with reference to the academic performance of the students as well as their financial need. Candidates are asked to have a high interest in international relations, business and other legal issues.
Eligibility conditions:
- There are the following general requirements for participation in the program:
- Candidates must not be citizens of the United States;
- Participants will have to submit an application to one of the MJ (Master of Jurisprudence), LLM (Masters Of Law) or MJ (Master of Jurisprudence) programs and the necessary documents in full before applying for the grant;
- Should be passionate about studying in the United States and actively engaged in public affairs, volunteering and leadership in his state;
- Must have excellent oral and written language skills. Language skills are checked through an online interview and a written essay.
- In this grant it is possible to study in one of the MJ, LLM and MJ programs. In addition to the above requirements, there are special requirements for each said Direction:
MJ (Master of Jurisprudence:
- The candidate must have completed a bachelor's degree in the United States or another state. But a bachelor's degree does not have to be in the field of law;
- Bachelor's degree marks must be equal to at least 3 in the 4-point system (GPA). (75 points in the 100-point system;
- TOEFL 83 or IELTS 6.5 certification required;
LLM (Masters Of Law:
- The candidate must have completed a bachelor's degree in the United States or another state. For this program, it is required to complete a bachelor's degree in law;
- Bachelor's degree marks must be equal to at least 3 in the 4-point system (GPA). (75 points in the 100-point system;
- TOEFL 83 or IELTS 6.5 certification required;
SJD (Doctor of Juridical Science:
- The candidate must have completed a master's degree in law in the United States or another state;
- Bachelor's degree marks must be equal to at least 3.3 in the 4-point system (GPA). (In the 100-point system, 82.5 points;
- TOEFL 94 or IELTS 7 certificate required;

Note! The program does not take on accommodation, attendance, textbooks and other expenses. Candidates are asked to come with the funds they can afford to study. LLM and SJD students are advised to come with $50,000 per academic academic year for daily expenses.
