By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 5, 2017, No. 5068 "On the Creation of an Innovation Technopark in the Yashnabad District of the City of Tashkent," the Yashnabad Innovation Technopark was created.
Currently, residents of the Yashnabad Innovation Technopark are working on a total of 44 innovative projects in the following areas. In particular, they are carrying out effective work in chemical technologies, biotechnologies, pharmaceutical and medical biotechnologies, plant protection products, agriculture, building materials, information and communication technologies, and other areas.
As of July 1, 2021, residents created 531 new jobs, produced and sold products worth 172.4 billion soums to the domestic market. At the same time, 1.4 million. Products worth US dollars were exported to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.
According to the results of the first half of this year, residents contributed 3.1 million US dollars. Investments in the amount of US dollars.
In addition, the Korean company "CelluFab Corporation" invested 250 thousand US dollars in the construction of a joint venture with a local entrepreneur in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and construction work is currently underway.
In the direction of international cooperation, representatives of the technopark are planned to take part in the Festival of Innovative Projects "Sikorky Challenge 2021: Ukraine and the World," which will be held in Kyiv, Ukraine, on August 12-14, 2021. During this Festival, it is planned to present innovative products of residents of the Yashnabad Innovation Technopark in the form of an exhibition.
In addition, within the framework of the visit of employees of the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Tehran, the Islamic Republic of Iran, it is planned to establish cooperation and sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the Yashnabad Innovative Technopark and the Pardis Technopark.
On the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M.Mirziyoyev dated February 19, 2021 No. 10 "On the instructions given during the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M.Mirziyoyev to the Namangan region on February 18-19 of this year and at the extraordinary session of the Regional Council of People's Deputies," as well as the Program of Measures to Transform the Chust District of the Namangan Region into an Innovative Territory, approved by the Decree of the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan S.Umrzakov dated March 31, 2021. Order No. 108 of the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan was adopted, and the charter of the "Chust Innovation Technopark" branch was developed and approved based on the extraterritoriality principle of the Yashnabad Innovation Technopark.
In order to ensure the implementation of paragraph 147 of the instructions given during the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M.Mirziyoyev to the Surkhandarya region on June 1-2, 2021, and the minutes of the extended meeting No. 30, as well as the minutes of the Ministry of Innovative Development and the khokim of the Surkhandarya region No. 02-01/237, approved on June 30, 2021, necessary measures are being taken with partner organizations and the khokimiyat of the Surkhandarya region to transfer 1.2 hectares of land from the territory of the Altinsay district to the balance sheet of the Yashnabad Innovation Technopark free of charge on the basis of the right of operational management.
Also, in order to establish the activities of the Business Incubator of the Yashnabad Innovation Technopark in the Altynsay district of Surkhandarya region and increase the innovative status of the region, order No. 188 of the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan was adopted on July 24, 2021, according to which, in accordance with the established procedure, the "Altynsay Youth Innovation Production Zone" of the technopark was created and its charter was approved. To date, the status of the "Oltinsoy Youth Innovation Production Zone," which is a branch of the "Yashnabad" Innovation Technopark, is being registered in the prescribed manner. In order to organize the activities of the "Business Incubator for Supporting the Commercialization of New Scientific Developments" in the "Yashnabad" Innovation Technopark, a Department for Coordinating the Activities of the "Business Incubator" has been formed within the technopark, and equipment is being purchased for the organization of activities.
In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 19 dated February 8, 2021, this year, ministries and departments were assigned to territorial mahallas, and a "Mahallabay" system of work was widely implemented on the ground. In particular, in order to create new small businesses and service facilities in the mahallas assigned to the Ministry, measures are being taken to provide permanent employment for 12 unemployed citizens included in the "Iron Notebook," "Youth Notebook," and "Women's Notebook" by installing 2 "service containers" in the "Constitution" and "Rakatboshi" mahallas of Yakkasaray district.
In order to ensure the implementation of the instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M.Mirziyoyev dated April 15, 2021 "On the transformation of the Urgut district into an innovative territory" and the "Action Plan for the transformation of the Urgut district into an innovative territory," signed between the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the khokimiyat of the Samarkand region on April 19, 2021, the innovative projects "SOS" (automatic notification of the MES and the Ministry of Health's call centers in case of a car accident), "Alkotester" (prevention of drivers driving under the influence of alcohol), as well as "Autonomous refrigerator" for carrying cars, presented by the resident of the Yashnabad Innovation Technopark LLC "UJAM INNOVATE," were financed by the Ministry of Innovative Development in the form of a startup.At the same time, to date, the resident of the technopark is carrying out effective work on the above-mentioned innovative projects.
