As part of the "Erasmus+ Week", the Erasmus+ National Office in Uzbekistan held a seminar-training on submitting documents for grant projects.
On the initiative of the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the "English for Science" project has been implemented since April of this year. Within the framework of the project, about 200 professors-teachers, doctoral students and researchers of educational institutions operating in the city of Tashkent will create scientific articles based on international requirements, publish them in journals on the list of internationally recognized authoritative databases, as well as It is intended to create skills for writing international projects and applying independently for educational grants from foreign advanced countries.
Abdulaziz Abduvaliyev, the director of the Scientific and Technical Information Center under the Ministry, Qudrat Kutlimuratov, the responsible officer of the Erasmus+ National Office in Uzbekistan, spoke at the event. Q. Kutlimuratov, presenting detailed information about the criteria of grant projects, 4 grant projects announced within Erasmus+ (1- Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters; 2- Jean Monnet activities; 3- International credit mobility; 4- Capacity Building for Higher education) and shared practical skills for self-application.
- Creating a strong competitive system of higher education and science is one of the important directions for Uzbekistan, - said A. Abduvaliyev, director of the Scientific and Technical Information Center. - The fact that our government pays special attention to strengthening the role of science in the socio-economic development of our country serves to support advanced innovative developments and high technologies, and to strengthen the competitiveness of scientific and practical research. In turn, the Ministry of Innovative Development participates in the process of improving the quality of scientific research, high technologies and innovative developments, and consistently introducing their results into the economy.
Erasmus+ is a program to support education, training, youth and sports in Europe. Its estimated budget is 26.2 billion euros.
In the program for 2021-2027, great attention is paid to directions such as social integration, ecology and digital transition, as well as the participation of young people in democratic life.
