President Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the innovative educational and production technopark established in the student town of our capital.
It combines three systems - education, science and production. Here, students see and use advanced techniques, and they "ripen their eyes". They get to know the process from drawings to making finished products and become qualified specialists. In short, this technology park serves as an "idea generator".
The head of our state inspected the conditions created here.
The three-story building is equipped with advanced equipment for robotics, energy, electrical engineering and biotechnology. On the first floor there are welding, electroerosion, wood and plastic processing, start-up rooms and laboratories. On the upper floors, there are educational and co-working rooms, robotics, standardization, gyms, administration, library, and offices.
The President emphasized the importance of establishing a management company and selling products in the technological park.
- Five years ago, there were few young people who entered such centers and laboratories. All of them had a lack of income. Because there was no money for science. Now, using these conditions and equipment, it is necessary to teach young people to prepare and sell marketable products. If they are interested, the spirit will appear, they will devote themselves to this field, - said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
Instructions were given to attract more students of technical higher education institutions and take practical lessons here, to improve educational programs based on advanced technologies.
In the innovative technology park, internships for students are free, and tax benefits are introduced for residents. A greenhouse was established for biological experiments.
The head of our state got acquainted with the projects implemented in the biotechnology laboratory. The importance of promoting import-substituting products produced by residents, supporting them and other such projects was emphasized.
The president talked to students and young scientists. There was also a dialogue with representatives of mass media.
