According to the decree, Al-Khwarizmi University, specializing in training personnel in engineering and IT, will be established.
The main areas of activity of the University are defined as:
training of personnel with higher education with modern knowledge and skills in the fields of mathematics, aerospace technologies, engineering, IT, and artificial intelligence;
conducting research work based on the existing needs in the socio-economic sphere, as well as close cooperation with prestigious, recognized scientific centers abroad, wide involvement of students in scientific and innovative activities.
The educational process at the university will be organized from the 2025/2026 academic year, and students will be taught in the state and English languages based on a credit-modular system.
The Urgench branch of the V.I. Romanovsky Institute of Mathematics will be organized in the University building, and the practice of assigning students to each scientific worker will be established.
The educational process at the university is carried out on the basis of a state grant and a paid contract.
