Young scientists sent for scientific internships to foreign organizations submit a scientific report at the end of the internship.

Chapter 5 of the Regulation "On the Procedure for Sending Young Scientists for Short-Term Scientific Internships to Leading Foreign Scientific Organizations," approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers dated April 19, 2021 No. 222, defines the procedure for submitting a report on the results of the internship.

In accordance with Chapter 5 of the Regulation, it is established that:

According to paragraph 40, financial and scientific reports are submitted upon completion of the internship;

In accordance with paragraph 41, the financial statements on the use of funds allocated for internships are submitted by the customers in paper and electronic form to the Fund for Financing Science and Supporting Innovations (hereinafter referred to as the Fund) within 10 working days from the date of arrival of the winning candidates for internships, with the attachment of relevant documents, including documents confirming expenses.

In this case, funds not used (saved and misused) in the prescribed manner, based on reporting data, are subject to return to the Fund within 25 working days from the date of completion of the internship.

In accordance with paragraph 43, upon completion of the internship, the winning candidates shall prepare a scientific report within 10 working days from the date of completion of the internship.

For reference: the winning candidate who has completed the internship prepares a scientific report within 10 working days from the date of completion of the internship and is obliged to take measures to submit it to the collegial body of the customer in the prescribed manner.

In accordance with paragraph 44, the scientific report is submitted for consideration and approval to the collegial body of the customers.

In case of non-approval of the scientific report in accordance with paragraph 45 of this Regulation, the funds spent by the young scientist during the internship period are withheld from his salary and transferred by the Customer to the Fund.

The scientific report and a copy of the decision of the collegial body, approved in accordance with paragraph 46, are submitted to the Agency for Innovative Development (hereinafter referred to as the Agency) in paper and electronic form within 10 working days from the date of issuance of the decision of the collegial body, with the attachment to the official cover letter of the customers.

For reference: the scientific report is submitted to the Agency simultaneously in paper and electronic form. The information in the electronic and paper form of the submitted scientific report must be identical and complete.

In accordance with paragraph 47, the winning candidates must present their research results at international scientific conferences and publish them in leading scientific journals in internationally recognized databases, while also expressing their opinions and opinions on the experience gained and the knowledge and skills acquired during the internship at events organized by the Agency and other events for at least one year.

In accordance with paragraph 48, the heads of customers are responsible for the accuracy of reports and information.

Taking into account the foregoing, we request from customers:

Young scientists are requested to organize the high-quality preparation and timely submission of the established financial and scientific reports at the end of the internship to the Fund and the Agency in strict accordance with the requirements of the Regulation.
