On August 28, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation with a delegation of the Republic of Korea headed by the Chairman of the Committee on Education under the Council of Jeju Province, Deputy Mr. O Sin Shik.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Kongratbay Sharipov, and members of the ministry's leadership.
During the conversation, issues of developing bilateral friendly relations and expanding cooperation in the field of higher education and science were discussed. In particular, the prospects for supporting the Korean language, improving the qualifications of professors and teachers, exchanging students and specialists, and strengthening direct cooperation between higher educational institutions were considered.
Members of the delegation also got acquainted with the state policy of Uzbekistan in the field of education, the process of reforms and experience.
The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere, and the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation in the future.
