On August 28, a traditional meeting of the "August Council" was held at Polytechnic No. 1 of the Pakhtaabad district of the Andijan region with the participation of heads of vocational educational institutions and teachers.
The khokim of the region, Shukhrat Abdurakhmanov, took part in the event and expressed his opinion on the urgent tasks facing the industry. At the meeting, the work carried out in the 2024/2025 academic year, innovations introduced into the educational process, the results of the dual education system, and issues of youth employment were discussed.
Also, in the 2025/2026 academic year, priority areas were identified as improving the quality of education, strengthening cooperation with manufacturing enterprises, and the widespread introduction of modern pedagogical technologies.
Within the framework of the Council, a new educational and practical workshop was commissioned at Polytechnic No. 1. The activities of short-term vocational courses were reviewed, and new standard uniforms introduced for technical schools and polytechnics were presented.
At the end of the event, artistic performances prepared by the students were presented. It was noted that this conference will serve as an important platform for thorough preparation for the new academic year.
