The forum in Belarus serves as an important bridge for expanding cooperation in the fields of education, science, and research.

Within the framework of the visit of the delegation headed by the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Belarus on September 2-3, 2025, the third Uzbek-Belarusian Business Forum of Women Entrepreneurs is being held in Vitebsk.

On the first day of the forum, the 4th session "Belarus - Uzbekistan: prospects for bilateral cooperation in the field of education, science, and healthcare" was held.

The First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Shokhrukh Daliev, delivered a report. In her speech, she noted that as a result of the reforms carried out in recent years in the field of higher education in Uzbekistan, the opportunities and benefits created for women's education, their share has now exceeded 53 percent.

He also informed about the implementation of projects to direct young people towards entrepreneurship, finance startup projects, and the "Step to the Future" program.

At the end of the session, a number of documents on cooperation between higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan and Belarus were signed. In particular, the National University of Uzbekistan, Andijan State University, Fergana State Technical University, and Termez State University of Engineering and Agrotechnologies signed memorandums of understanding and cooperation agreements.

These documents will serve to expand opportunities for the implementation of joint projects in the fields of education, science, and research, academic exchange of professors, teachers, and students, organization of joint events, and promotion of scientific results at the international level.
