Tasks for the implementation of reforms in higher education have been defined.

On September 10, Hilola Umarova, the Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Education Reform, conducted a meeting at the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Kongratbay Sharipov, responsible employees of the ministry, rectors of higher educational institutions and heads of organizations of the system.

At the event, the issue of effective implementation of the instructions given at the videoconference meeting chaired by the head of our state Shavkat Mirziyoyev was discussed. The President gave important instructions on raising the reforms being carried out in the education system to a new level, providing students with jobs, educating young people as comprehensively developed individuals, and developing science and innovation.

Hilola Umarova emphasized that strict control will be established over the implementation of these tasks. He noted the need to pay special attention to improving the quality of education, ensuring that graduates occupy a worthy place in the labor market, and the spiritual and moral education of young people.

He also introduced the meeting participants to the responsible leaders appointed by the relevant decisions of the head of state - the First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Sardor Rajabov, and the Director of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education under the Presidential Administration, Bakhtiyor Yuldashev.

The tasks set at the meeting were assigned to the heads of the system based on specific directions, and responsibility for their implementation was strictly defined.
