A solemn awarding ceremony for the winners of the republican review-competitions "Best Idea," "Best Project," and "Best Invention" in engineering was held at the Youth Creativity Palace in Tashkent.
The competition was held in three stages from May to July 2025, in which 1,262 talented young engineers under the age of 40 demonstrated their intellectual potential and new perspectives. Their projects were evaluated based on the criteria of innovation, effectiveness, practical applicability, and sustainable development.
According to the final results, a total of 28 winners were determined. They received the following awards:
✔️9 winners were awarded modern BYD Chazor electric vehicles;
✔️ the winners of the second place and the winner of the "Best Invention for Sustainable Development" nomination received internship referrals in foreign countries with reimbursement of all expenses;
✔️ the third-place winners were awarded cash prizes in the amount of 37.5 million soums.
The awards were solemnly presented to the winners by Hilola Umarova, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration for Education Reform, and Kungratbay Sharipov, Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.
As noted at the ceremony, this competition is a vivid expression not only of the innovative ideas and developments of young engineers, but also of the high attention paid to science and technology in our country. It is expected that the developments of the winners will be implemented in the relevant fields, and their intellectual potential will serve to further enhance the scientific and technical potential of our country.
During the event, songs and melodies performed by our beloved artists filled the audience with a festive mood.
