Within the framework of the “Buxoro-TalabaExpo2025” event, Uzmilliybank JSC held presentations of banking products as well as graduating students’ innovative and startup projects.
At Bukhara State University, within the framework of the “Step into the Future” program, credit products developed to support graduates were presented. In addition, an award ceremony was held for graduating students whose business projects received funding.
In particular, Bakhodirova Gullola, a student of Bukhara State Pedagogical Institute, was awarded a voucher worth 1 billion soums; her fellow student Jamolova Gulmira received a voucher worth 800 million soums; and Yusupova Jasmina, a student of Bukhara State Technical University, was granted a voucher worth 50 million soums.
This initiative is being implemented in line with international practice. In developed countries, commercial banks and large companies widely support student startup projects, which enables young people’s ideas to be tested in practice and accelerates their entry into the market.
In Uzbekistan as well, under the “Step into the Future” program, effective mechanisms are being developed to support students’ innovative initiatives, finance their business ideas, and introduce them into practice.
The event was organized in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Bukhara Regional Main Department of Uzmilliybank JSC, and the “Step into the Future” Center.
