Decision No. 545 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated August 27, 2021 amended Government Decision No. 304 of May 22, 2017, according to which, in strict agreement with ministries and agencies that are scientific and educational organizations within the system of the Ministry of Innovative Development, and in the field of educational organizations, the admission quota was approved based on the performance indicators of post-secondary education institutions in accredited specialties.

Based on the principles of openness, as well as taking into account the wishes of future doctoral students, the distribution of the admission quotas for 2022 in the scientific and educational organizations for training in the system of scientific degree personnel training at the expense of the state budget was announced to the general public for the first time.
Based on the performance indicators of post-secondary educational institutions in the specialties accredited by scientific and educational organizations from the state budget, the places in excess of the allocated admission quotas will be redistributed by the Ministry of Innovative Development.
