After five years of research and experimentation, LG Display has unveiled an innovative display prototype that can be stretched up to 50% and bent in various ways without damaging the product.
The display can be glued and applied to any type of fabric. It is believed that this innovation could also revolutionize the fashion industry:
"We can produce custom clothing that can adapt design and color in real time. This innovation will create a huge breakthrough in the fashion industry. Using displays for sewing materials opens up opportunities to create clothing models that will never wear out," say fashion designers Yun Hee Park and Chung Chung Lee.
