It has been proven that the biosimulator “Biovak Y24” increases cotton yield.

In the “Mirzayev Islom” farm of Yukorichirchiq district, the biosimulator “Biovak Y24,” developed within the framework of a project funded by the Agency for Innovative Development, was tested. As a result, it was determined that one hectare of land planted with the “Sulton” variety of cotton can yield 50–60 quintals.

According to the field seminar organized by the National Center for Knowledge and Innovation in Agriculture, during the experiment conducted on 33 hectares, the rows where the preparation was applied showed significantly higher growth results. Meanwhile, in 12 rows where the biosimulator was not used, the yield was lower.

Experts note that “Biovak Y24” not only increases productivity but also helps preserve soil fertility and maintain ecological balance.

The event was attended by the head of the Seed Development Center, Sh. Otajonov; the Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian and Water Management Issues of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, R. Mamutov; representatives of the Republican Council for Cotton Growing; the Research Institute of Cotton Breeding, Seed Production and Cultivation Agrotechnologies; as well as AKIS specialists.
