Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Ibrohim Abdurakhmonov met with young people from the central office of the ministry and its subordinate organizations. The meeting discussed issues raised at a videoconference chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on measures to improve the efficiency of work in the field of youth policy.
I. Abdurakhmanov separately emphasized the words of the President “Working with youth is a vital issue”, and noted that in recent years great opportunities have been created for the upbringing and development of young people. Speaking about the need for effective use of these conditions, the minister gave young people examples from his own life and gave advice on how to succeed.
“It is necessary to set big goals and not spare yourself in achieving them, use all opportunities to overcome various obstacles, be able to see problems and find solutions, form a team around yourself and work together,” the minister said. - At the same time, it is important that these goals serve the development, progress and future of the Motherland.
During the meeting, the floor was also given to the youth, they received answers to their questions, put forward their proposals. In particular, the participants of the meeting warmly welcomed such proposals as the rotation of young personnel in the central office of the ministry and subordinate organizations, providing them with the opportunity to get acquainted with the activities of higher educational institutions.
